No I am not talking about the size of a man's ya know , but, does size matter when it comes to women? This is an age old debate, that has been around for many years. Many people have different views on it, and I myself have my own view on.the matter.
I personally feel that if your happy being you, then be you!! People say that there is a lot of pressure for women to stay slim from the media, skinny models, and mainly MEN!!
The media makes a big impact on how women view themselves, and I think that this is really sad. Women look at slim models in magazines, and don't realise they have been airbrushed to within an inch of their lives. I will admit I do the same. These models used in magazines, and advertising campaigns probably look nothing like the picture in real life. The media is deceiving women, and making them look to unrealistic targets as a way of making them self look 'prettier' or 'more attractive to men'.
MEN!!! A whole other topic in themselves. Just like women, men have there own 'type'. Some like the blonde, others prefer brunette. Some go for looks, others go for personality. Some like slim girls, some like theirs curvy.. Who are we to judge right? Women want to look there best for men, or believe that if they loose that bit of weight then they will get the man they want. This might be true, but it is not right. The one thing I dont agree with is women changing themselves to get a man. I have seen many friends talk about how if they were that bit slimmer, dyed there hair, wore different clothes, then they would be able to get the man they have been chasing after for the last five months. NO!!! My view is that if a man isn't interested in you for your personality and how you look, then it is their loss. Women should not feel pressured into changing how they are, unless they really want or need to. Not just for a mans sake!! Women should be confident and embrace there bodies, whether they are slim or curvy. Do you really want a man who wants to change you? I know I don't. Whether your a size 10, 12, 14, 16,18, 20, 22, it doesnt matter just as long as your are happy.
As a curvy girl myself, I am going to leave you with these words
Be Confident, Be Happy, and most of all Be who you really are
